Spring Wishes and My Bedroom

Happy Sunday! I'm wishing I could look outside and see some scenes like this today~

but, nope that's not what I see. At least we had plenty of sun yesterday and I see some sunny skies this morning. I can handle the cold, but not the gray gloominess. I'm really starting to look forward to Spring. Last week we made our last trip to Nebraska and packed up a Uhaul with all of our things. I'm so glad to have my room done and the rest of my things in storage. I really like how my room turned out~ warm and cozy, but with plenty of cream which you all know I'm loving right now. It's my nice, cozy space and I love it:-) See what I did with my big frame, I just tacked one of my red striped linens on the back and then hung my little LOVE sign in the center. What do you think?

I found some dangly crystal trim at Michaels and hot glued it around the cream candle pedestal that I bought at Target. I also bought the candle and greenery at Target.
I also glued some of the crystal trim around my lamp shade. I usually don't use hearts in my decor at all, but in honor of Valentines Day I hung this little red heart in the center of my wreath. The wreath is also from Target. I bought it a week ago and saw that it is now on sale for $24.99~ of course :-(

My pie safe is here, yay( I missed you pie safe)!
I've been painting lot's of things Antique White, can't ya tell?

Love this corner~
So that's a quick look at my room for you all. I think I am going to start a new blog in the next week or so and will leave this one open, but will not be posting here anymore. I will post the new blog address on this blog when I have it ready. I am also going on a fun trip to a place I've always wanted to go in a few weeks. I'll tell you where the next time I post:-) Have a wonderful day!

What's In Your Makeup Bag (or tool chest)?

Chic Critique is hosting a What's In Your Makeup Bag Carnival this week. I thought it sounded fun and I'm looking forward to seeing what's in everyone's makeup bag. If you've been following my blog for awhile you know I've mentioned my fave makeup on here a few times before. I'm happy to share again cause I love this stuff! I don't actually have a makeup bag unless I'm traveling. What I do have is an antique tool chest full of Bare Escentuals. It holds my ridiculous amount of makeup perfectly. I have waaaay to much of this stuff, but there are so many pretty colors! I am giving it a break though and will not be buying anymore kits for quite a while. Here are some pics of my tool chest~

Foundation,Radiance,Gossamer,and Bisque~
Eyeshadow,Glimmer, and Glimpse~Awesome brushes~

Buxom lipgloss~This is what I actually use each day~
The one item I use that is not BE is mascara. I've used Loreal Voluminous for years and it's still my favorite.

Here is my daily routine~ I usually start off with the Bare Minerals Foundation and swirl, tap, and buff until I have the coverage I want. Then I use bisque under my eyes and to cover any red areas or blemishes.
I use Well Rested under my eyes and on my lids to make myself look awake and well rested:-) I use java eyeshadow for my brows, and then a base eyeshadow and another eyeshadow on the lid. My favorite's are the glimmer's because I love a little sparkle. After the eyecolor I line my eyes with either a powder liner or a pencil liner. Next comes the Voluminous mascara. When the eyes are finished I feather on some blush, mineral veil, and some radiance. Then finally some buxom for the lips~ I love Buxom lipgloss! So there you have it. That's my daily routine unless I'm just hanging around the house and don't put on any makeup at all which is actually quite often:-) I really do love Bare Escentuals. It is not only a natural makeup with no chemicals, but it is so fun to put on. There are sooo many color choices and different ways of putting it on. The colors can even be mixed to create new colors. If you are looking for a new makeup to try I recommend Bare Escentuals. Stop by a BE Boutique for a free makeunder if you'd like to try it before buying. Have a wonderful week!

Melancholic Temperament

For those of you on Facebook, you know all those silly quizzes on there that people take, right? Well I took one this morning to find out what my temperament is and the result kind of creeped me out because it described perfectly, so many things about my personality, better than I could have. It just seemed weird to get this result after only answering a few questions. So I have a Melancholic Temperament. Here is the explanation~

Introspective and reflective, you think about everything and anything. You are a soft-hearted daydreamer. You long for your ideal life. You love silence and solitude. Everyday life is usually too chaotic for you. Given enough time alone, it's easy for you to find inner... peace. You tend to be spiritual, having found your own meaning of life. Wise and patient, you can help people through difficult times. At your worst, you brood and sulk. Your negative thoughts can trap you. You are reserved and withdrawn. This makes it hard to connect to others. You tend to over think small things, making decisions difficult.

Yep, I think too much for sure and I don't like my life to be too chaotic and busy, it stresses me out. I do love silence and I'm happy with having time by myself, though that is probably when I'm thinking too much :-) I am definitely a reserved person and do have trouble being open and connecting to others. I do have a hard time making decisions sometimes because like it says I overthink small things. I'm worried I won't make the right decision. Anyway, I found this interesting. So now you all know more about me!
Oh and you know that Anthropologie coat in this post that I said I wanted so bad? Well, I went to Target last night and saw one very similar to that one and I LOVED it! It was only $39 instead of $160 like the Anthropologie one. I'll post a picture of my cute new coat later just in case you want to see it :-) Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

A Freeeezing Cold Day

Today was a freeeezing cold, windy, snowy day here in St. Louis. Too cold to go out in my opinion. So what do we do on a day stuck inside? Well it started off watching the St.Louis news channels overreact about the weather all morning, kinda funny. Here's what else we did all day~

Paige and I played our new Twilight game we got for Christmas. It was really fun and I won every time, yes I did :-) Then she played by herself once, so that she could win Hahaha !
Then of course we drank some coffee~

We ate plenty of homemade chicken vegetable soup that my mom made. It was so yummy and perfect for this day.

We all were on Facebook way too much today( like we aren't always on Facebook way too much!)
Then I started playing around in my room and took my new frame off the wall and started a new display with it that is not finished yet. I want to find some real looking Hydrangeas soon to put in this crock and then I will hang this frame here with another smaller frame inside of it. Who knows I may change my mind and move it again. So that is what we've done to keep ourselves busy today. Hope you all are staying warm ! Have a great evening !

Anthropologie

I love this store!!!! A couple of months ago on a trip to the Galleria in St.Louis with my parents and Paige we stopped in Anthropologie. I could have looked around that store all day. I loved almost everything in there. Some things were pretty pricey, but I did buy my light switch covers for my room there. Aren't they pretty~
This morning I decided to browse the Anthropologie website and do some pretend shopping for fun. I only put a few of the items I pretend bought here for you to see~

Love this cozy throw, I got two of these~

This loungewear is too cute~

Nice purse, huh?

Such a pretty necklace ~

Absolutely love this scarf!

My favorite thing though is this coat! I want it bad!!!
I'd love these new dishes~They have great hardware~
Well, that was fun ! Have a great night!
