King Kong Burgers

We were so hungry after walking around the zoo, so we decided to try King Kong Burgers. We've wanted to go there and it happened to be across the street from the zoo. It was very good, but the burgers were huge. Paige and I could've easily split one. The salads looked great too. I think I'll get one next time.

Another trip to the zoo

Today was a beautiful , warm day finally ! We decided to go to the zoo. It was a little crowded, but the perfect weather for it !The gorilla was very entertaining. He came up and hit his fists on the glass right next to us ! They are so fun to watch.

Biggest Loser

We hope one of the girls win ! Go Ali and Kelly ! This is the most inspiring show ever ! Next week is the finale on Tuesday night on NBC.

Happy Birthday to Me !

We had some carrot and lemon cake for my birthday last night while we watched Biggest Loser ( hmmm ). It was delicious ! I'm 34 today !

Fun Visit

On Sunday my mom , grandma , and uncle came to visit us for two days. We had a very fun time ! On Sunday we went shopping and out to eat at Lansky's. Then on Monday we drove about 45 minutes to Waubonsie State Park. We got there, got out and walked around for about 10 minutes and headed back. It was just to cold and it was pretty, but very brown and wintery. It will be beautiful in the spring, summer, and fall. After that we went to Austin's Steakhouse in Omaha for my birthday dinner. Then we went over to Sams, Oakview Mall and Scooters Coffeehouse for skinny mochas. Gabriel got one of their delicious smoothies. We had a great visit and now we can't wait to be back in St. Louis in 2 weeks .

New Candle

American Heritage Workshop sent me this candle. It is called Homestead Warm Spiced Cloves and it smells sooo good ! I also love the grungy jar ! It was so nice of them to send it to me. I will post the link to their candles on the right if you want one like this or one similar to it.

Birthday Bench

Brian, Gabriel, and Paige gave me this bench for my birthday. I love it ! Now I just need some pots of flowers and maybe a black rocking chair for my porch area. I spray painted my red barn star black and hung it up yesterday.
