Our July 4th

We had a good day today. Around 5 Brian grilled some ribs for dinner. We also had baked beans, pasta salad, deviled eggs, apple pie, and chocolate cream pie. Yum ! Then around 8:30 we drove over to the base lake and found a good spot to watch the fireworks show. There were lot's of people that had been there most of the day. Many of them had bonfires going and tents set up. There seemed to be fireworks going on all around. People in the streets and in their yards shooting them off. It is getting late and I still hear them outside ! It's very fun though. Quite different from Illinois.
