( you would think when they renovated these base houses that they would have put in new energy efficient windows,but no) I am thinking about a warm beach. It doesn't help knowing that my mom,sister,and my niece and nephew are at Daytona beach in Florida over the next couple days. Lucky them! So here is where I am going in my imagination today~
First I'll grab some sunglasses
I'll take this cute bag and towel
Have to have some cute flip flops
And of course the new Country Sampler ( mine better be in the mailbox today!)
I'll need some sweet tea to drink while I look at my Country sampler while I'm sitting on the beach

I am so there. I am sick of this Ohio weather....cold today, warm tomorrow, warm today, cold tomorrow...it is CRAZY!! When ya leaving? I will bring my Country Sampler and you can use it during the trip (lol).

I'm a Texas gal transplanted to the frigid Midwest. I was at a similar place in my imagination just a couple of months ago. Makes you wonder how close we are to the brink of breakdown, doesn't it?
Oh Janae..Count me in! You picked all of my favorite things! My friends tease me because I have TOO many sunglasses...I LOVE them..all colors shapes and sizes! And flip flops...well let's just say I can't count how many pairs I have..It's an addiction! And bags...well I will pick a couple of my favorites and get packed! OHH, count me in!!! Im so tired of the cold. We're in sunny So. California about 1 hr 20 min from the beach. We live in our flip flops and shorts here in the summer here but we live in the high desert so its freezing in the winter time! Im tired of snow, rain and wind. I want warm sunny days!
Im packing my bags right now and Im coming with ya. The twins have been bugging me for a beach day so we'll skip homeschool today and play hookie ! Yippie!

Oh boy...I know I just took a mini-vacation to the beach last weekend, but certainly didn't look like THAT where I went!! But I'm not going to complain...we always stay for free there. Thank goodness for generous family:)

Isn't that beautiful? Gosh, I would love to go. I saw a friend that I went to school with yesterday after church and she and her family just got back from the Bahamas over Spring Break. So, my mind was already drifting in that direction!

Well, I don't like the heat and I burn so easily I avoid the beach so I'll house sit while you are gone. Yes, that's what I'll call it. House sitting. Not shopping, house sitting. Let me know when you leave and don't forget to leave the key under the mat. And if you see a UHaul truck driving away, don't look at me!
