Ha Ha, I like that word Christmassyness:-) Here are some Christmas pictures and ideas that I love~
I LOVE this wreath hanging on the old chippy cream color! Next year I want one of these wreaths. Maybe I'll make one. I'm not really a blue person, but this blue and brown combo is so pretty.
I think this room looks cozy~
I like this idea of the three wreaths on the door, pretty , pretty!
Something about this room looks cute and cozy to me. It's not exactly my style, but I still like it.
Those pictures are so fun to look at, but here is what I'm looking at in my living room here in Nebraska. A whole lot of empty walls. My dad took a car load of things back to Illinois for me when he dropped me and Paige off last Thursday. We will be here until Monday. I am going through my things and deciding what to bring with me to Illinois now and what to get later in the Spring.
Here are the Christmas things that I have decided to take with me to decorate my bedroom next week. Hope it all fits in the trunk :-)
I found tons of Christmas labels that I bought back in the summer. I forgot about them and I'm not sure what to do with them. I bet Kim and Jamie would be happy to take some off my hands ha ha. Haley, you might like some of these, too. I have PLENTY of them.
This is what I have going in my tart burner here at my house. It might not look a lot like Christmas here, but it sure smells like it! These little tarts smell sooo good !
I did decide to put up two little trees, so that Paige and I would have some kind of Christmas decor while we are here for the week. I thought Brian needed some Christmas decor around here to enjoy too. Here is a simple little tree with just lights and pine cones~
We decided to do a Cardinals tree for Brian since he LOVES the Cardinals. My mom and I found these Cardinals ornaments at JC Penney's. I thought the santa hat made a cute topper~
We have such pretty snow on the ground, so that's one more Christmassy thing around here. It's snowing hard right now and is supposed to keep on snowing all day and tonight. We will have an awful lot of snow by tomorrow I bet!
Okay, Jamie, I know I said that I wasn't going to use my bowl rack and that you could hang this in your house, but I just had an idea and now I think I'm might use it in my room. I want to paint it cream and make it look cottagey, but I'm just not sure until I get back to Illinois. I guess we'll see. I may be overdoing it in there as I want to keep my room simple.
So that's what's going on here. Hope you all have a Christmassy day! :-)

So good to hear from you. I hope things are going well for you.
I love all the pics you posted too. I like otehr styles besides prim, even if they are not exactly "me."
Take care and I hope you feel like posting again soon. :)
Glad to hear you are well. Enjoy the snow! We are having a "whiteout" of a day here in SW Neb. I pray that you make it back to Illinois safely. Enjoy your Christmassyness!
1803 tarts are the best! Deb does a great job with them -- they smell delish--I love them! ~Terry
I hope all is going well for you. I have thought of you often. I love your 2 trees you and Paige decorated. The snow is beautiful.

Hi Janae, I want some of that snow here! I think your bowl rack idea sounds pretty for your room. I can't wait for you to come see my living room! I am really trying to keep it simple and more colonial than prim. The tree is UP but no decorations yet. Maybe tonight! Oh and the little Cardinals tree you did is cute and was so thoughtful. Can't wait to see you! God bless, Jamie
I love the pictures, great inspiration, have a safe trip back to IL.

I love the photos!
What a lovely post :)
I can't wait to see your room all done. You keep teasing us with every post showing us goodies going in but have yet to share the completed work. Can't wait :)
Enjoy the snow, it seems that it is hitting everyone.
Janae,
Glad to hear from you and glad to see you are doing well. Sorry we won't be 'neighbors' anymore. LOL. (I live in WY). Sometimes a fresh, new start is the best thing. Take Care of yourself! :0)
