South Carolina

Brian spent last week in Charleston, South Carolina at an IDMT conference. On the last day he rented a car and went to Folly Beach. Here are a few pictures.

Americana Display

I did this new display on my old table today. I can't find 2 of the flags that go in my pineapple. Maybe I can find some at weathered and Worn. I bought the bunting at the Crow when I was visiting. This is the only place that I can find to put it. It's a little big for any other spot.

Backyard

Here are a few pictures of my backyard so far. I have some more flowers to plant still , but it's looking much better out there. A bird built a nest right on the drain pipe next to the back door.

A birthday gift

Here is a picture of the birthday present Jamie gave me. It is a sampler that says~ Away is Good but at Home is the Best. That's the truth ! I hung it in my kitchen. Thank you Jamie !

My Friend Jamie

I was so glad that I got to visit my friend Jamie at her new house in Highland. It is such a cute house and the huge yard they have is so nice, relaxing, pretty, and country ! I love the view out the back with the red barn , all the trees, and all kinds of plants and flowers everywhere ! I also love her cozy fireplace that she has all primmed up ! I look forward to visiting again in August !

Patriot's Loose Tooth

Here are some pictures of Patriot trying to show me his first very loose tooth. He pulled it out the next day ~ his 6th birthday ! He had an Ironman birthday.

The Pajama Wii Party

Kim, Erik, Patriot, and Sami invited us over for a pajama Nintendo Wii party. We bowled, golfed, boxed, played tennis, and ate popcorn all in our pjs. It was really fun !

Pictures ? Not Gonna Happen !

Grandma wanted some pictures done of all of her grandchildren. We went shopping and got coordinating clothes for all the kids and made an appointment at Portrait Innovations. Everyone looked so nice and Sami was so cute in her dress and pretty red bow. Then it was time to pose and smile for the camera, but Sami absolutely refused and decided to go build blocks in the waiting area. No matter what anyone did she just wouldn't do it. I think the whole thing might have just scared her a little. Here is a picture of her playing blocks, posing with Patriot after we were done and one afterwards at lunch. I think all the pictures of the cousins turned out so nice.
