A Way With Hair

This is a picture of the hair salon in Plattsmouth called A Way With Hair that I have an appointment at on Tuesday. I saw a lady in the Commisary the other day with a cute haircut. I asked her who cuts her hair and this is the place she told me. The lady that cut her hair is named Angie. After seeing this building I'm feeling very nervous, but I shouldn't judge it from the outside. I just hope Angie does a good job. Pray for me on Tuesday that I will get a good haircut ! :)

Plattsmouth

Today was so nice and warm out. Paige even wore capris and flipflops! We decided to go to Plattsmouth to see what it was like. It is only 15 minutes away from here and I saw that they had a couple of antique shops. The town is so hilly. It will be very pretty when everything is green instead brown and dead.I found some crocks that I liked in the Antique shop, but I didn't buy anything. We stopped at The River House Cafe ~ Old Fashioned Soda Fountain and Atiques. Gabriel got a coke float, Paige got a chocolate icecream sundae and I had a scoop of triple berry sorbet. It was delicious ! The old main street reminded me of Lebanon, but with not as many gift type shops. The buildings are also more western style in Plattsmouth.

New Green Picks

I stopped at Weathered and Worn on the way home from Sams this afternoon to see what new things they have in. I found these pretty green picks that were on sale for $2.99. They were just what I was wanting for my brown crock.

Bunnies

Yesterday I decided to put out some of my bunnies. I also opened my black wall cupboard and put things in it. I'll leave it open for awhile. Then I'll get tired of it and close it again like I always do. The bunnies are the only Easter decoration that I'm putting out this year.

Frozen Base Lake

On Sunday afternoon Gabriel, Paige, and I decided to go drive over to the base lake and have our lunch. It was a bit warmer than it has been, but with the wind it was still chilly. We only stayed for a little while. I thought the frozen lake looked so pretty.

Pineapple Stencil

I finished the stencil in my dining room yesterday. It didn't take as long as I thought it would. I might do it in my kitchen to, but I'm not sure yet.

Busy as a Bee

I finally got curtains and mini blinds up over my sliding doors. I also got my new Busy as a Bee wool rug and reflector sconces hung up.

Valentine Flowers

My mom and sister had beautiful flowers delivered to my house yesterday. What a nice surprise !

Spaghetti Works

After the zoo we went to Spaghetti Works at the Old Market. Yum ! Free spaghetti refills !

Henry Doorly Zoo

Today we went to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. It was so cold out. We just went to the inside exhibits and the Sea Monsters 3D IMAX movie. It was fun, but we will be glad when it's warm enough to walk around the outside more. It was only about A 15 minute drive from our house.

The Kids Bathroom

We bought a mirror, a beach picture, and a barn star to finish decorating our hallway bathroom.
